Recruit Officers

$42.60 per hour while attending the police academy

Police Officer

Upon graduating the academy & lateral officers receive a base salary of $112,242.40 - $136,182.24 with additional incentives for education and longevity.

Sworn Officers reach top-step pay in just five years, and laterals start at a step based on their prior service.

Officers also receive between 3% - 7% for POST certificates.

Officers receive longevity pay of 3% starting at 8 years of total sworn service, and then a total of 5% after 12 years of total service. Your prior sworn service from another agency counts toward the total service calculation.
