Holidays & Vacation
Holidays: Police employees are paid for 11 scheduled holidays annually.
Vacation: Employees accrue vacation according to their years of service. Prior service with another agency counts toward vacation accrual timelines. Vacation is accrued annually at the following rates:
1st - 5th year: 121.6 hours
6th - 10th year: 164.3 hours
11th - 15th year: 194.7 hours
16+ years: 237.6 hours
