New officers attend advanced courses early in their careers to set them up for long-term success. Our generous training budget allows officers to participate in most in-county training programs.

We also have a state-of-the-art Safety Training Center, featuring modern classrooms, simulated properties, space for defensive tactics, a 25-yard pistol range, and a 100-yard rifle range. Thanks to the strong support of our city leaders, officers have access to modern, well-maintained equipment, ensuring they are prepared and protected in any situation.
